An article about the Sonaca 200 aircraft in the December issue of Aviation Revue. In late October and early November this year. We hosted a Sonac 200 aircraft on demonstration flights in Poland, which arrived in Warsaw directly from the factory in Belgium. The Sonaca 200 is a two-seat low-wing all-metal low-wing aircraft with a maximum takeoff weight of 750 kilograms that is type-certified in the EASA CS-VLA class. The aircraft has been designed and adapted for basic (VFR Day & Night) and advanced (IFR under VMC conditions) training. The Rotax 914 turbocharged engine provides excellent high-altitude performance while offering low operating costs. Sonaca 200 comes in two variants that differ in avionics equipment – Sonaca 200 NG (Trainer, analog clocks) and Sonaca 201 (Trainer Pro, glass cockpit). Since its launch in 2016, the Belgian company has delivered dozens of aircraft to training centers and private customers in Belgium, France, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Turkey.
