EDDA Systems AS is a Norwegian company that has been manufacturing ATC simulators and offering consulting services in the ATM/ATC (Air Traffic Management/Air Traffic Control) industry since 2005. The company’s main product is the ATC eCoach simulator.
The eCoach ATC simulator provides training for air traffic controller candidates and advanced training for certified controllers. The simulator covers all roles, i.e. work of tower controllers (TWR), approach/departure (APS and PAR) and area control – including military. Air Force Information Service (AFIS) employees can be trained using the same solutions. The simulated ATC model provides a realistic representation of the ground surface and aircraft behavior such as acceleration, braking, preparation times, engine start-up, and realistic taxi and climb times for each aircraft type.
